Packer Avenue Marine Terminal

Taylor Wiseman & Taylor utilized electromagnetic, sonic and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) to determine the existence of underground utility facilities at the Packer Avenue Marine Terminal.

As part of the effort to revitalize the Philadelphia’s marine terminals, TWT was contracted by Rodriguez Consulting, LLC to perform Quality Level B designating services on the 125-acre waterfront site. Designating services are the approximate horizontal location of underground utilities including gas, electric, fiber-optic cable, sanitary force mains, water and telephone. The specific areas where the utilities were designated was identified by client.

The utilities that were found were marked out with appropriate color paint or flags and subsequently surveyed for their horizontal locations.
