Taylor Wiseman & Taylor prepared a detailed watershed study of Little Elk Creek and four other streams in Cecil County, Maryland, and Chester County, Pennsylvania.
The project included a detailed hydrologic analysis of a 33.2 square mile watershed using US Army Corps of Engineers’ Geo-HMS Geographic Information Systems (GIS) techniques. The project also includes a detailed hydraulic analysis of more than 3.1 miles of stream with floodplain and floodway delineation in accordance with FEMA standards, using US Army Corps of Engineers’ HEC-RAS and Geo-RAS GIS techniques. TWT received approval as part of a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) to FEMA.
