Hanover Gas Main Replacement

Taylor Wiseman & Taylor provided surveying, environmental and civil design services for replacement of eight miles of existing natural gas transmission main. The main delivers gas from a Texas Eastern Gate Station, and is a major supplier to the New Jersey Natural Gas Northern Division in Morris County. The gas main runs through rough terrain from the Gate Station, along busy Route 10 and other County and local roads.

TWT delineated wetlands, performed survey and subsurface utility designating and locating services, as well as prepared design plans for construction and review by local, County, and State authorities. Included in the design plans were six highway crossings using trenchless technology. The estimated cost of the project was $21 million.
