Acme Due Diligence

Taylor Wiseman & Taylor prepared the Preliminary Site Evaluation Reports and/or Entitlement Services for improvements to over 75 existing and/or proposed Acme supermarket locations within New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware over a 7-year period.

The purpose of the Preliminary Site Evaluation Report was to determine the feasibility of the current project. Individual projects included upgrades to existing supermarkets, retrofits within existing market centers, and new free-standing facilities. Associated tasks for each project site included preparation of an ALTA survey, Phase I Site Assessment, Geotechnical Soils Study, and Zoning Analysis, including researching the rules, regulations and requirements of all municipalities or agencies having jurisdiction. Site cost estimates and a conceptual site plan were also included.

Entitlement services included the necessary site/civil services to obtain all required permits, variances and/or government approvals in order to complete the current project. Post-entitlement services included Construction Stakeout and Construction Observation.

Site/Civil services included detailed preparation of site engineering design documents, preparation and filing of pertinent applications, coordinating and orchestrating all presentations, and obtaining necessary approvals for compliance plan approval.
