Introduction
Taylor Wiseman & Taylor (“TWT,” “we,” “our”) operates the Taylor Wiseman & Taylor Employee App (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App.
Who Can Use the App
The App is intended exclusively for authorized Taylor Wiseman & Taylor employees. Access requires authentication through your company-issued Microsoft Office 365 account.
Information We Collect
Authentication Information
The App uses Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL) to sign you in with your existing Office 365 credentials. We do not store your password. Authentication tokens are securely stored on your device using Apple’s Keychain Services.
SharePoint Content
The App retrieves company news articles, events, and employee directory information from the TWT SharePoint intranet using the Microsoft Graph API. This content is displayed within the App and is not stored permanently on your device or transmitted to third parties.
Calendar Data
If you choose to add an event to your Apple Calendar, the App requests access to your device calendar. This data remains on your device and in your iCloud account. We do not access or store your personal calendar data.
Email
When you express interest in attending an event, the App sends an email on your behalf through your Office 365 account using the Microsoft Graph API. The email is sent from your account and appears in your Sent Items.
Project Search Queries
When you use the WisemanAI feature, your search queries are sent to a TWT-operated project profile search service. Queries are processed to return relevant project results and are not used for any other purpose.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit:
- Your Office 365 password
- Personal contacts or photos
- Device location data
- Analytics or usage tracking data
- Advertising identifiers
Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
- Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL) — For secure Office 365 authentication. Subject to the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
- Microsoft Graph API — For accessing SharePoint content and sending email. Subject to the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
- Apple EventKit — For adding events to your device calendar. Subject to the Apple Privacy Policy.
Data Storage and Security
All data retrieved by the App is held in memory during your session and is not persisted to local storage beyond authentication tokens (stored securely in Apple’s Keychain). Communication with Microsoft services and the TWT project search service is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
Your Rights
As a TWT employee, you may:
- Revoke the App’s calendar access through your device Settings
- Contact IT to request removal of your data from company systems
Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18 and is restricted to authorized TWT employees.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date above. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
