Requirements:

· The selected candidates should have 1-3 years’ experience, and/or college equivalency.

· Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D. Experience with Microstation or Carlson Survey is a plus.

TWT is interested in hiring a senior water resources engineer to work in a full-time capacity in our Mount Laurel , NJ headquarters office. The ideal candidate will have the following credentials:

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering from a four-year college/university
• Minimum 5 years of experience with a consulting engineering firm;
• Experience with hydrology and hydraulics software, including HydroCAD, WMS, StormCAD, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS (1-D and 2-D).

Taylor Wiseman & Taylor is seeking a Bridge Engineer with 5-10+ years of related experience for our transportation practice in NJ and Pennsylvania. The work will be full time in-person, based out of our Corporate Headquarters in Mount Laurel, NJ.

Duties will include:

· Develop and complete work relative to bridge design, including horizontal and vertical layout, soil analysis, designs of shallow and deep foundations, and sheeting design etc.;

· Prepare design calculations for bridge elements including reinforced concrete abutments and retaining walls, prestressed concrete beams, steel girders, and rigid frame piers and box culverts in accordance with AASHTO specifications;

· Prepare and/or review design plans, reports, construction documents, specifications, construction cost estimates and schedules;

· Interact with Department staff on a daily basis and work collaboratively with technicians and CAD drafters in developing quality deliverables;

· Prepare technical reports/proposals;

· Site investigations to determine the suitability for the requirements of the upcoming project; and,

· Represent the firm at technical meetings with review agency staff, clients, and contractors.

Requirements include:

· B.S. degree in Civil Engineering;

· PE Preferred or EIT with ability to take NJ PE Exam in 1-2 years

Taylor Wiseman & Taylor is seeking a Traffic Engineer with 3-5+ years of related experience to join our expanding traffic engineering practice.  The successful candidate will be an active partner in further development of the traffic discipline in New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania.  The work will be based out of our Corporate Headquarters in Mount Laurel, NJ.

Duties will include:

• Develop and complete work relative to traffic engineering, including planning, design and traffic signal operations;
• Work independently and/or with team on efforts related to traffic; engineering analysis and studies.  Other traffic engineering tasks include, but are not limited to: Traffic Impact Studies, Traffic Operations Analysis, Traffic Signal Design Plans and corresponding Electrical Plans; Traffic Signing &Striping Plans, ADA Curb Ramp Desings, and Maintenance & Protection of Traffic Plans;
• Must be able to work effectively and collaboratively with in-house staff, sub-consultants and clients; communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing and think critically and independently;
• Work well within project teams;
• Assist Project Managers in defining scope of projects, creating and maintaining budgets, and managing/mentoring less experienced staff.

Job Preferences:

• NJ Professional Engineer License

• Experience with NJDOT Division of Traffic Engineering CADD Standards
• Experience with Tru-Traffic and VISSIM
• Knowledge of NEMA traffic signal controllers/systems
• Knowledge of communications including fiber optic, spread spectrum radio and Ethernet
